![]() ![]() Might as well write your name on them.! It's not like you could go to a dealer, and say: "Hello, I have my silver stolen from me, I had #934983, I would like to check all of your 10oz bars to see if you've got my stolen silver." Pretty damn sure he'd kick your ass out of his store! So unless all do, it's absolutely worthless if they're bought and sold without any type of serial number logging. ![]() I like it for my personal records and plus just incase they are ever stolen I have a way of trying to get it back with my documentation. It's pretty worthless, as dealers don't seem to keep track of serial numbers. I do have a ton of new and old JM bars and Suisse bars with serial numbers and I log in all the serial numbers in my ledger book along with the description of the bar, price paid, and date purchased. I prefer having a serial number on my bars but I'll still buy anything cheap to add to the stack. ![]()
